By using Email Setup Wizard (the “site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

Free guides that explain which DNS records an email provider needs and how to add them at a domain host, plus a checker that reads your domain’s public DNS records and points out likely problems.

Information, not a guarantee

We base every guide on the providers’ official documentation and show where each value comes from. Providers and hosts change their requirements and dashboards without notice, so a guide can fall out of date. Before you change DNS, confirm the values in your provider’s admin console. You are responsible for the changes you make to your own DNS. Check results describe what public DNS returned at that moment and may differ from what other resolvers see while changes spread.

Not affiliated

We are independent. Product names such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho Mail, Hostinger Email, Titan, Fastmail, Proton Mail, iCloud, Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Squarespace and Rackspace belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. No endorsement is implied.

Some links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are labelled, and they never change which records or steps we show.

Fair use of the checker

Please use the checker for domains you manage or are helping to set up. Do not use it to run automated or bulk lookups, and do not try to overload or disrupt the site. We may limit or block traffic that looks automated.

Done-for-you setup

If you ask us to set up email for you, we will agree on the scope with you before any work starts. That arrangement is separate from these terms.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including lost email, lost business or downtime, arising from your use of the site or from DNS changes made based on it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
